Remote Area Power Increasingly Renewable

More than 600kW of small scale wind and solar power systems have been installed in remote areas of Western Australia due to the funding provided by the Remote Area Power Supply Program.

Surveys show that users of renewable energy systems have been very impressed with the improved quality of life that comes with the provision of 24-hour power, along with reduced fuel costs and maintenance requirements.  More info...

Reminder - Energy Smart Trade Expo

The Energy Smart Trade Expo will be held on 31 May 2005, at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. It includes a full day seminar and a trade exhibition. Members of the sustainable energy industry will be available to discuss and present their products and services to delegates.  More info...
